As part of Maui Economic Development Board’s STEMworks program, which runs the STEMworks AFTERschool program at eight Maui County elementary and middle schools, Maunaloa Elementary offered a hands-on STEM Day on January 8 to kick off the spring 2026 semester.

58 students from across Maui County, including 3 from Molokai, joined healthcare professionals at Kaiser Permanente’s Maui Lani clinic on November 15 for a Saturday morning filled with career exploration and hands-on learning.

The Harrison and Helen Miyahira STEM Center at Maui High School was packed with students from October 6-10 despite the DOE fall break thanks to the STEMworks Innovators Fall Camp program.
