It’s the ultimate STEM camp for girls – Excite Camp! Open to middle school students (grades 7-8), the primary goal of Excite Camp is to inspire, educate and expose our island’s youth to STEM careers.

Participants have an opportunity to:

• Explore Hawaiian culture past and present

• Empower oneself with the latest STEM technologies and resources

• Engage in fun exciting hands-on activities

• Discover exciting STEM careers

• Investigate and analyze scientific methods

Over the course of three days, 20 middle school girls from Maui County will enjoy fun and challenging hands-on STEM projects, as was well as take onsite tours of high tech organizations and companies.

Because of their under-representation in these fields, Native Hawaiians, girls and other minority groups are given preference. Space is limited.
