Summer Food Service Program Locations: Throughout the year, many students rely on free school meals as their main source of nutritious food. However, without these meals in the summer, families are forced to stretch their limited budgets to provide food, and in some cases children go hungry. Hawai’i Appleseed and the Department of Education has worked to expand summer meals through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for children and youth. Locations, contact information, and food service times can be found here: Summer 2019 Public and Charter School Summer Food Service Program Locations
